We’re Access Dorset – an organisation run by and for disabled people, older people and carers. We’re building a community where everyone gets treated with dignity and respect, where we support one another, grow together and make a difference.

We support one another through our through our Information, Advice and Guidance Service, Crisis Advocacy Service, Vocational Skills Development Opportunities, Money Management Skills Training , and activities that reduce social isolation and improve health. These include our Horizons Community Café and our Build, Grow, and Cook groups, all of which we deliver from our beautiful resource center at The Bridge.

Please note: Sadly, as a result of the virus outbreak, we have made the very difficult decision to suspend all public activity at the Bridge. This includes Build, Cook and Grow Groups, the Horizons Cafe and all external groups. BUT WE ARE STILL HERE TO HELP! Our phone lines are OPEN and we are answering our emails. We will be staying in touch with you via Facebook. Together we will get through this!

A big thank you to our Funders and Supporters
