Making a difference through life changing activities
We have strength and depth of knowledge, experience and understanding of the issues that comes from being a member led organisation. All of our services put disadvantaged disabled people, older people and carers at the heart of what we do. We make positive change happen and support people to lead fulfilled and inclusive lives.
Our activities are geared to supporting people to identify and overcome barriers to independence and social inclusion. We encourage self-help strategies and nurture peer support approaches to enable, empower and build self-resilience. We want to bridge the gap that young disabled people experience in transition to adulthood, between unemployment and employment and between ill-health and self-management of health conditions. Our key services include:
Free Information, Advice and Guidance Service
