Build
This is another vocational training opportunity! The build group has established a focused team dedicated to designing & constructing accessible furniture and shelving for our polytunnel! They have also taken commissions for wooden furniture and upcycling projects. The small profits generated are reinvested into the project, allowing an element of self-sustainability and further diversity!

Art Groups
We have two art groups here at The Bridge. Art & Craft with Arty Anne is perfect if you enjoy sewing, painting, crafting and turning ordinary objects into extraordinary art pieces! Our second group, Art For All run by Sharon is an art session which is tailored to each persons abilities and interests. So, whether you are a seasoned artist or just dipping your toes into the colorful world of creativity, there’s a canvas waiting for you!

Our performing arts group is all about celebrating creativity, movement & expression. The group rehearses weekly & embraces all abilities.

Age No Limits Social Group
This is a peer-led group for those aged 50 and above, where they come together for a range of activities designed to foster social interaction, combat loneliness and create connections! Recent sessions have included chair yoga, baking and lectures from local specialists!

Cooking Skills
The cook team gathers every Monday morning. Guided by healthy eating principles, this friendly and inclusive group prepares simple , delicious and healthy recipes from scratch. As the participants refine their culinary abilities, they also compile a recipe book, which they can take to use at home!

Cooking on a Budget
This weekly workshop covers menu planning on a budget, demonstrate easy and affordable recipes, provides nutritional advice and includes practical demonstrations for growing your own food. Participants gain knowledge and skills in budgeting, planning & preparation of low cost nutritious meals.

Walking Group
This is a volunteer-run walking group which gathers weekly for a leisurely stroll around a local park. During these walks, our volunteers take turns in creating quizzes on various themes, injecting an element of fun and friendly competition into the session. They follow an accessible path, ensuring that everyone can participate comfortably.

Grow!
This is a vocational training opportunity! The grow team learns and develops a variety of skills, like sowing, planting, watering, weeding, growing and harvesting fruit and vegetables as well as composting and seed growing. The organic fruit & vegetables grown in our sensory garden & poly tunnels are then used in our cafe!

This is a volunteer-led gathering with games, socializing, exercise & dance. It’s all about movement, laughter and connecting with others!

Mix & Match
This is an inclusive activity group where you can express yourself, find your voice, build confidence, and make new friends through adaptive singing, playing instruments, and dancing. All abilities are welcome!

Confident Social Communication Course
This course will help you build confidence in yourself, improving and supporting successful and enjoyable social and work relationships. It’s an activity-based course that supports you in sharing your personal opinions and points of view.

Creative Writing with Ed
On the last Friday of the month, one of our volunteers Ed hosts a creative writing class and guides everyone through story writing and the use of written language.
